Counselor

  • I began my school counseling career in the 2019-2020 school year for Topeka Tilton Attendance Center and New Hebron Attendance Center, as well as Lawrence County High School. I am also the cheerleader coach for Topeka Tilton Junior High, and the interventionist at Topeka Tilton Attendance Center. I have served in the Lawrence County School District as the interventionist beginning in the 2016-2017 school year to present, and a second grade teacher in the 2015-2016 school year. Before my employment with the Lawrence County School District, I taught for 3 years in the Marion County School District from 2012-2015 school years.

  • To make a positive impact on students’ academic education, as well as facilitate a meaningful counseling experience for students, through an encouraging and safe environment. I believe every student deserves the opportunity to become productive citizens of our society. Our school will work together to provide your child with critical-thinking skills to learn and succeed. I, as well, will be available if students need someone to speak to about issues they may not can handle on their own. I want to ensure a safe environment where students feel accepted.
